My name is J’Amy Owens and one of the great joys of my life is breaking all the rules, of freely mixing retail and politics, and pouring my beliefs into my work. Eventually, this method has allowed me to push the boundaries of conventional retailing with an original cultural statement, bold new styles and my own brand of humanism that I practice through consumerism.

For over a dozen years, I have had the honor to serve a host of the world’s best companies with strategic solutions designed to maximize retail performance. My average increase in a client’s top line is 30-40%. That’s what some call a “no shit” statistic. I like to think that that brave number is a reflection of the respect I have for the process of change and a willingness to tell the truth, no matter how rugged. I have been personally described as a “straight-talker” who is “refreshingly blunt and realistic,” which is a delicate way to put things. I say what is what. I can’t help it.

I have developed over 400 retail and marketing concepts in thousands of applications internationally. My portfolio of projects includes brand birthing strategy and positioning, strategic business development and marketing. Simply put, I am in the practice of providing great-brands in all applications that sell more products and services.

I have been hired by the best retailers and consumer goods manufacturers and made millions for them, by intuiting what their customers wanted, and serving up solutions that never seem like reheated leftovers. My work is passionate, magical, non-linear, and deliberate. I serve the consumer, and create enough purpose in the selling proposition to compel loyalty. I bungee jump, I take risks, and I deliver. I am not neutral. Like my dad always liked to say - the only thing in the middle of the road are white stripes and the dead armadillos. I now know he was talking about me.
